Education program

Young people have a big stake in the energy transition. Today’s students are tomorrow’s renewable energy workers and decision makers.

SEC's education program brings renewables to life. We showcase the breadth of study and career opportunities to inspire young people as they choose pathways into work.

We have designed a range of free activities to inform, inspire and empower students to pursue their renewable energy future.

Our education program builds awareness and excitement for the energy transition and opportunities it brings, including practical examples of jobs and career pathways. We host site visits to our projects so students can experience firsthand the renewable energy industry and the jobs it creates, and we deliver hands-on workshops in schools to inspire students in STEAM and problem solving.

We're raising awareness and interest in renewable energy jobs – such as mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, maintenance, line workers, electricians, welders, mechanics, machine operators, community liaisons, and more.

Our programs

Activities are aligned to the Victorian Curriculum Version 2.0 and delivered by experienced educators. Browse our program to plan your experience.
